About the Company

• My client is a rapidly growing SaaS company offering a distinctive and innovative database solution to its customers.
• Their platform stands out from competitors with key advantages such as seamless scalability, global accessibility for users across regions, top-tier security, and a user-friendly interface.
• For candidates based in New York, the role requires in-office presence three times a week at their Midtown location. Candidates located in other states will work remotely, with occasional travel to New York (1-2 times per month).
• This is a high-visibility role that involves close collaboration with senior directors, leadership of a global team of five, and regular interaction with cross-functional teams around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of five accounting professionals, ensuring high performance and alignment with departmental goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and key stakeholders across the organization to support business objectives.
• Provide cross-functional oversight of core finance operations, including audit, general ledger, and tax functions.
• Foster strong collaboration with global teams based in India and London to ensure consistency and efficiency across regions.
• Partner with the CFO to identify gaps within the team and department, and develop strategic solutions to enhance performance and scalability

Experience Preferred:

• Experience with SaaS, technology, infrastructure or related field a must
• CPA a must
• Prior global accounting leadership experience a plus
• Public / Big 4 Experience a plus
• Interest in AI Native concepts
