Our Interface/Programmer Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring all hospital interfaces. Responsible for the development and ongoing support for custom report queries, as needed, for interfaces to external vendors. This position is responsible for the identification, analyzation and resolution of all interface related issues and problems. Strong problem solving skills and inherent decision making ability are required. Must have strong project management skills with good oral and written communication skills in a technical and non-technical environment. Must have strong dedication to customer service.
Requirements
Applicant must have a High School diploma with 7 years' experience in similar setting; Or a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Math or related field OR Associate Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Math or related field with 4 years related experience. Experience with Microsoft SQL server and integration engines required. Light experience with Microsoft Access, Oracle, Sybase, DB2 and open source database platforms a plus. Experience with Microsoft Windows, Unix operating system, JAVA, Visual Basic, XML, ODBC and JDBC preferred. Must have working knowledge of HL7 standard with 1-2 years PC and network related support experience and familiarity with FTP and other transfer protocols.
