Linden Oaks is a non-profit school and therapy center serving children and young adults, ages 12 months through 40 years of age. Established in 1955, Linden Oaks has been a renowned leader in special education and disability services, supporting Southern California.
Role Overview:
Linden Oaks is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with demonstrated leadership/management experience to join our team. The newly created role of Clinical Program Manager (CPM) will have the exciting opportunity to develop, implement and oversee Intense Outpatient Program (IOP) services at Linden Oaks.
They work closely with the Director of Program Development to ensure high-quality clinical care, compliance with regulations, and a positive work culture. This role involves a mix of administrative responsibilities, direct clinical work, and community engagement. The CPM will also engage in community outreach, marketing, and strategic planning while supervising clinicians and providing direct client care as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee IOP services, including budget oversight and service quality.
- Supervise and support clinical staff, ensuring compliance with licensing and ethical standards.
- Lead community outreach and marketing efforts to grow the program.
- Oversee clinical operations, including insurance authorizations, crisis management, and client referrals.
- Provide direct therapy services when necessary (individual, group, and family therapy).
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance program effectiveness and research-based practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensure required: LMFT, LCSW, PhD, or PsyD in mental/behavioral health.
- Minimum 5 years of post-licensure experience in psychology or mental health.
- At least 3 years of managerial experience, including clinical supervision and budgeting.
- Strong knowledge of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, and Learning Disabilities.
- Experience in IOP program management, community outreach, and interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Requires standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Frequent computer use and crisis intervention responsibilities.
This role is ideal for a licensed mental health professional with experience in program development, clinical supervision, and strategic leadership within an IOP setting.
