Background: Vectrona is seeking a skilled Intelligence Reporting Systems Administrator to support the U.S. Navy's enterprise-wide Intelligence and Information Warfare (IW) mission. In this role, you will provide vital technical and operational support for CHROME and HOT-R, two of the Navy's premier CI/HUMINT reporting platforms. Responsibilities include managing user accounts, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of reporting data, and delivering comprehensive training and support across NAVIFOR and its subordinate commands.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage user accounts and role-based permissions within CHROME and HOT-R
- Conduct quality control reviews of Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs), NIPs, and related submissions
- Track and report platform usage metrics to support readiness and program oversight
- Deliver desk-side and remote training to end users on CHROME functionality and SOPs
- Assist in the transition and sustainment of CHROME tools in coordination with OPNAV N2X and USFF
- Provide SME support during Fleet-level exercises and operational planning teams (OPTs)
- Collaborate across IW domains to ensure alignment with broader Navy reporting requirements
Preferred Education/Degree:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant military or operational experience may substitute
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- Deep Expertise in CHROME and HOT-R Platforms: Advanced understanding of CHROME and HOT-R system architecture, user administration, reporting workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.
- CI/HUMINT Reporting Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs), NIPs, and Navy-specific HUMINT/CI reporting standards and doctrine, including SOMM policy.
- Training and Instructional Skills: Proven ability to deliver technical training-both in-person and virtually-to diverse audiences, with clear communication and user-focused instructional design.
- Operational Intelligence Support Experience: Experience supporting Navy 2X organizations, with a strong grasp of operational tempo, reporting requirements, and coordination with Fleet-level OPTs and exercises.
- Interagency and Cross-Domain Collaboration: Ability to coordinate across IW domains and with higher-echelon stakeholders (e.g., OPNAV N2X, USFF) to align system capabilities with enterprise reporting standards.
- Analytical and Reporting Acumen: Skilled in tracking usage metrics, conducting quality control reviews, and providing feedback to enhance data accuracy and mission readiness.
- Systems Administration and Information Assurance Awareness: Familiarity with user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and information security protocols relevant to classified systems.
