Work Schedule: This role has hybrid flexibility, allowing 2 remote days/week based on business needs.
Salary: $157,500 - 175,000+, or potential lateral partnership consideration for candidates with an existing book of business.
Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP is seeking an attorney with 7+ years of significant experience in the area of Intellectual Property, including the protection of intellectual property assets for businesses, research and educational institutions and other non-profits.
The successful candidate will have experience in domestic and foreign trademark registration and portfolio management, copyright registration, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements involving the creation, development, acquisition, transfer or use of intellectual property assets, including software licensing and software-as-a-service agreements, licensing of patent, copyright and trademark rights, and conducting intellectual property due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions transactions.
Intellectual property litigation experience helpful but not required. Candidate must be admitted to practice in New York. WOH has a partial remote work policy.
