LHH is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our reputable client's Intellectual Property group. This role requires extensive experience as a legal support professional with a strong understanding of Intellectual Property Litigation.
What You'll Do: - Organize, manage and update case and transaction files; and coordinate court filings and closings.
- Attend client meetings, depositions and trials, and assemble arrange and assist in the review of documents for discovery production, depositions and trial.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of court documents, ensuring adherence to court rules and e-filing procedures, under supervision of lawyers.
- Conduct legal research using various online and offline resources (including Westlaw, LEXIS, and PACER) to gather relevant information; utilize automated eDiscovery review systems including Relativity, CaseMap/TimeMap, and West Case Notebook.
- Provide on-site support during trials, including managing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and assisting with logistics and courtroom technology.
Who You Are: - Experienced Paralegal who has spent 5+ years supporting attorneys with Intellectual Property work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Billing Software, and On-Line Document Management Software
- Experienced with e-filing, having previously used PACER
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable billing 1600 hours annually
- Bachelor's degree required, Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Intellectual Property Litigation experience is a plus.
Pay Details: $76,000 - $99,000/year, with additional annual bonus
