Shenandoah University's School of Health Professions is accepting applications for a Director of Clinical Education. This full-time benefited position will work out of our Winchester, VA campus.

The mission of the Shenandoah University Division of Behavioral Sciences is to educate ethical, compassionate counselors who practice cultural humility. The Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Shenandoah University aims to train counselors to be social justice oriented and work with underserved populations.
This developing Clinical Mental Health Counseling program will accept its first student cohort in Fall 2024. The position will obtain and maintain program affiliations, advise students through practicum and internships, manage fieldwork paperwork, and teach a reduced course load. Additional responsibilities include assisting in program development, creating practicum and internship handbooks, building community affiliations for internship sites, scholarly activity, and other departmental and university duties.
