Are you an experienced IP docketing professional ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a strategic and people-focused
IP Docketing Manager to lead our team of talented docketing professionals. This is a key leadership role within our Intellectual Property practice, ensuring operational accuracy, team development, and process efficiency.
What You'll Do: You'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our IP docketing function, managing workflows across U.S. and international matters and implementing risk management strategies to protect critical deadlines. In this role, you'll:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing docketing team
- Oversee all aspects of the docketing system, ensuring accurate tracking of deadlines and filings
- Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and external vendors to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Champion process improvements and technology enhancements to streamline operations
- Stay ahead of evolving IP rules and regulations to minimize risk
- Work closely with leadership to align docketing strategies with firm priorities
What We're Looking For: - At least 10 years of IP docketing experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
- Deep understanding of U.S., foreign, and international patent and trademark docketing procedures
- Proficiency with major docketing software (e.g., FoundationIP) and databases (e.g., TEAS, TSDR, WIPO)
- A collaborative leadership style, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Bachelor's degree required; ABA-accredited paralegal certificate a plus

- Competitive compensation. This role typically pays $120,000-$160,000 depending on experience and certifications. If your pay expectation is outside this range, we still encourage you to apply.
