1. Handle all aspects of intellectual property litigation, with a focus on patent and/or trade secret disputes
2. Draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda for federal court proceedings and administrative reviews
3. Conduct legal research and analysis related to technical subject matter
4. Collaborate with internal legal teams and technical experts to develop litigation strategy
5. Participate in depositions, hearings, and case management conferences
6. Assist in managing discovery processes, including expert reports and technical document review
7. Engage with clients on case strategy and updates

1. 2-4 years of experience working on intellectual property matters, specifically in patent or trade secret litigation
2. Admission to the Illinois State Bar (or eligibility for admission)
3. Demonstrated ability to handle independent assignments and meet strict deadlines
4. Strong writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills
5. Demonstrated initiative, integrity, and professional maturity

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

An undergraduate degree (or higher) in one of the following fields is preferred:

6. Or a closely related technical discipline
