Integrative TherapistCenter for Sport

Summary
The Integrative Therapist position will work within a comprehensive interdisciplinary medical team to assess patient care needs. The position will provide guidance in the implementation of complementary holistic approaches to healing and resiliency to our patient population. This position will report to the Director of Clinical Operations and will work with the Tulane University Center for Sport and Center for Brain Health teams with planning and delivery of integrated healing services using evidence-based practices promoting a holistic approach to healing in mind, body and spirit. This position will incorporate and practice strategies and interventions in the following areas: Stress Management, Resiliency, Mind-body interventions, Spirituality, and Wellness.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in integrative medicine, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
- Four years experience providing complimentary integrative services to individuals in an institutional/healthcare setting
- Three years experience as a holistic practitioner in a TBI/PTSD specialty clinical environment
- Three years experience working in a military/veterans environment
- Demonstrated experience in designing, coordinating and implementing holistic health programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in integrative medicine, mind-body medicine or a related holistic health field with additional certifications required in at least one of these areas: Guided Imagery, Yoga, Meditation/Mindfulness, Reiki, tai chi, qigong, Biofeedback, etc.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience as program manager in health care, holistic wellness, or integrated health programs
- Significant knowledge of and experience in treatment modalities around trauma-related psychological disorders (acute stress disorder/PTSD), and Traumatic brain injury
- Demonstrated experience in designing, coordinating and implementing holistic health programs Significant experience in teaching and coaching groups and individuals in stress management and resiliency
