TITLE: Integration & Test Engineer with TS/SCI w/CI Poly (US Citizenship REQUIRED) RATE RANGE: $70/hr - $90/hr W2 LOCATION: Onsite in State College, PA 16801 (no relocation package) DURATION: 12+ months (Contract or Contract to Hire) CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret/SCI w/CI Polygraph No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Systems Test Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be part of the continued development of an advanced, leading-edge, software system providing test engineering support, guidance and team communication. As the Sr. Systems Engineer, you will function in a technical support role in a SAFe Agile development environment and will effectively work and communicate with engineers on the agile development teams. RESPONSIBILTIES The systems test engineer will execute multiple aspects of the systems engineering discipline, to include software test, requirements traceability into software functions, system performance analysis, and system integration and test activities to ensure system requirements closure The system test engineer will interact with the agile development team regarding technical considerations, risks, and issue closure associated within the system capabilities. The candidate must also possess the ability to multi-task, adapt to rapidly changing circumstances, effectively network, and communicate to the appropriate levels of the organization and support schedules and delivery milestones REQUIREMENTS ACTIVE TS/SCI w/CI Poly Typically requires a bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws/regulations Have a CompTIA Security + Certification - Linux Demonstrated system engineering lifecycle experience developing or testing large software systems Leading test events, customer demos, test team coordination, modifying and creating test procedures, ad hoc testing, documenting test results, and reporting and writing defect reports Support of agile software development activities, including requirements specification and integration test and verification activities (full life-cycle) Ability to maintain technical cost and schedule for systems test engineering and software integration activities Have excellent communication and organizational skills; able to articulate intent, frame requirements and test activities, set priorities, develop practical methods, and align resources to meet goals. Experience interacting with both programmatic and technical presentations PREFERRED SKILLS Significant experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps or test driven development in an Agile development environment Experience in a technical role of a large multi-disciplined engineering team Experience with cloud-based S/W architectures and systems AWS cloud experience - AWS cloud technology knowledge and implementation Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) knowledge and experience, as a System Engineer Experience using modeling resources and methodologies like Cameo, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, etc. Experience using Agile tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.), and evaluation of COTS / FOSS applications EDUCATION REQUIRED Bachelor Degree Preferred If you would like to interview for this position, please send an updated resume to Dee Smith, Dee Smith Sr. Technical Recruiter Rates listed are not a guarantee of salary/rate.
