Position Overview: The Integration Consultant is a critical role on the Aravo Integration Services team, responsible for the development and the implementation of enterprise-class integration and reporting solutions between Aravo's industry leading 3rd Party Risk Management platform and Aravo's customers' backend systems, as well as a broad range of external third-party data providers.
This position uses the Aravo Platform set of integration tools to deliver enterprise-class integrations that are stable, maintainable, and, most importantly, meet the customers' business needs in the least complex manner possible.
Success as an Integration Consultant requires a combination of technical and business analysis skills to deliver customer-facing integration solutions. Good written and verbal communication is a must as well as the willingness and capability to learn the Aravo product platform, and needed tools/technologies.
You will be responsible for working closely with an Integration Services Architect and services implementation teams in delivering integration and reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop, test, and implement customer-driven data integrations, both internal and external, under the direction of an Integration Services Architect
• Develop and maintain SDLC documentation for integration projects
• Proactively interact and communicate with implementation teams
• Continually demonstrate a willingness and capability to learn
• Assist in the triaging, issue identification and resolution of reported integration related issues
• Create and maintain operational, architectural, and design documentation
RequirementsQualifications: • 1 to 2 years of general development experience with a mainstream language such as Groovy Script, Java or .Net
• Integration development and implementation experience, primarily interfacing with web services
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Soft Skills: • Skill Requirements
o Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external customer integration teams
o Demonstrated good written and verbal communication skills
o Familiarity with web services architectures, specifically API interfaces
o Familiarity with cloud-based architectures such as SaaS systems
o Familiarity with common lightweight desktop tools like SoapUI, Eclipse, Notepad , and other related development tools
o This will be a customer-facing role; as stated above, this resource at times be in the position to engage with external customers to collaborate on integration designs that meet their business requirements; the ability to communicate and guide to an optimal solution path and do so in an effective manner is critical
• Nice to Have
o Third-party risk management and/or GRC software, and/or experience of integration program management at Global 2000 companies
o Hands-on experience with webservice APIs
o Understanding of integration architecture, security protocols and API design and management practices
o Experience managing and supporting multiple concurrent projects at different phases
o Experience with any SDLC methodology such as Agile/Scrum or waterfall
o Familiarity with full-featured integration middleware suites such as Boomi, Informatica, and MuleSoft
