JOB DESCRIPTION: The Business Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the development of sales opportunities. Your extensive industry knowledge of products, their functionality, and the best practices for their installation, along with your excellent ability to communicate, will help to ensure the success and profitability of your projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing quarterly financial goals, generating business growth and driving brand development through client engagement. You will conduct monthly meetings to realign your goals with company objectives.

JOB DUTIES:
Oversee the development of standard operating procedures for your vertical, confirming they align with industry standards and company policies.
Demonstrate creative solutions to help differentiate IPS from industry competitors.
Maintain key relationships made during career.
Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, architects, and end users to help achieve financial targets.
Carry out market research to develop strategies and roadmaps to secure growth within the business.
Provide support to marketing team, in developing strategies for company's brand promotions.
Prepare presentations, proposals, and various sales tools on effective development of business opportunities for the company.
Work alongside the Design and Operations team to develop designs and proposals that fit the clients' needs while also providing high quality custom solutions.
Identify business opportunities by establishing and developing relationships while recommending solutions.
Build relationships that will help achieve the financial targets that are set for you and the team.
Manage/develop client relations via a company CRM.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and trade shows coordinated by the company.
Be a champion of the IPS brand.
TRAVEL:
Travel to customer sites, venues, job locations, and industry events as needed.
Must be available for up to 50 percent travel and work flexible hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent ability to interface with clients and handle multiple priorities concurrently.
Able to work in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment.
Must be comfortable managing relationships with executive level contacts.
Experience building quotes and proposals.
Must have extensive experience and understanding of AVL equipment used in installations.
Exceptional customer service skills with ability to impress clients.
Excel in both on-site and in-office settings - must be available for up to 50 percent travel and work flexible hours.
Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, good judgment, teamwork, and commitment to company mission.
Teamwork minded, and passion for the job.
Proficient in Internet software; Email; PC and Apple Operating Systems.
