Integrated Combat System Product Manager with Security Clearance

Embedded Integrated Combat System Product Manager Supporting Office of Naval Research Status: Contingent International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking a qualified individual to provide product management support to Future Naval Capability (FNC) transition into the Integrated Combat Systems (ICS) program of record. Applicant must possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher, in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a Physical Science Discipline; at least ten (10) years of professional experience in engineering projects that includes a minimum of two years supervisory or management experience. Required experience includes:
• Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar product management role.

• Strong understanding of product development frameworks, including agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

• Proven experience with Systems Engineering processes within an agile delivery model.

• Strong understanding of service-based architecture principles and methods.

• Excellent agile project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written), with the ability to work both independently, as a team and effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Experience working closely with engineering teams and a good understanding of technology concepts.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate a clear and compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with the ONR's overall goals and objectives and the ICS strategy.

• Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, including prioritized features, enhancements, and initiatives.

• Work closely with the Product Owners to implement the vision and roadmap and ensure the timely release of high-quality products.

• Work closely with the Product Owners to gather requirements, define product specifications, and oversee the product development lifecycle in accordance with the ICS Architecture governance and strategy.

• Fully participate in ICS agile ceremonies, including sprint reviews, Program Increment (PI) demos, and PI Planning.

• Conduct customer and user interviews, gather feedback, and analyze user data to gain insights into user needs, pain points, and satisfaction levels.

• Conduct regular product performance reviews and leverage data insights to identify areas for improvement, optimize features, and drive product growth.

• Effectively communicate product updates, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the organization.
Desired experience includes:
• Familiarity with combat system development and integration.

• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) knowledge.

• Familiarity with MBSE visualization tools; Cameo Modeler, Magic Drawm, SysML.

• Experience with AEGIS C&D or USN Surface Force Level Architecture.

• Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite of product management tools, including Jira, Confluence, and BigPicture.
