PRN Position

SHIFT: Overnights 11p-7a

Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?

The Intake Call Center Technicianis vital as the first point of contact for referrals and service inquiries. This position is responsible for assessing individuals of all ages and collaborating with physicians to determine the appropriate action. Under the guidance of the Director of A&R, the Intake Call Center Technician provides technical support for the discharge planning. Additionally, they excel at offering resources and assistance to callers and walk-in visitors, serving as a key connection to the community. The role also includes providing general support to the case management program.
  • Admission paperwork is completed per hospital policy.
  • Inquiry calls are documented and processed per A&R policies.
  • The intake (EMTALA) log is completed and has all information documented.
  • Pre-certification is obtained per insurance requirements.
  • Follow-up calls are made to those who fail to show up for appointments.
  • Safety problems are identified, and corrective actions are taken.
  • Medication is obtained after hours as ordered by the physician with proper documentation of drugs removed and accountability maintained.
  • On-call, the doctor is notified and assisted with the patient interview.
Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:
  • Education: Registered Nurse or Master's Degree in a human relations field preferred.
  • Experience: Preferably two or more years of experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting. At least two (2) years experience in a psychiatric hospital setting, including customer contact.
  • Licensure: Licensed to practice in the State of Georgia as a mental health professional isrecommended.
  • Additional Requirements: Knowledge of the latest DSM and Mental Status Exam. A working knowledge of the Addiction and Recovery field.

Compensation:

This is a PRN role; the expected compensation range is $16.00 to $18.00/hour, plus shift differentials. We're eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Intake Call Technician.
