We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Insurance Coordinator to handle all aspects of our insurance policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance policies, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring compliance and risk management.
In this position, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's insurance policies, including General Liability, Property Liability, Auto insurance, and other related coverage. This full-time role requires close collaboration with the management team to ensure that all insurance coverage is current and aligned with the company's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all corporate insurance policies, including General Liability (GL), Property Liability (PL), and Auto insurance, ensuring proper coverage and compliance with company standards.
- Track policy expiration dates and ensure timely renewals. Work with insurance providers to make any necessary adjustments to coverage.
- Assist with processing insurance claims, coordinating with insurance companies, and maintaining necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, certificates, claims, and related correspondence. Ensure all policies are accessible and organized for quick reference.
- Ensure that the company is compliant with all legal and regulatory insurance requirements. Help mitigate risk by identifying potential insurance needs or coverage gaps.
- Communicate with management, brokers, and insurance companies to provide updates on policies, claims, and renewals.
- Provide reports on insurance coverage, costs, claims, and renewal dates. Assist in the analysis of insurance options to ensure the best coverage for the company.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of General Liability, Property Liability, Auto insurance, and other commercial insurance policies.
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies and processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, insurance providers, and other stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple policies and deadlines.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
