REMOTE WORK FROM HOME Seeking individual with proven success underwriting Professional Liability risks for "Main Street" type businesses and service professionals such as Financial Advisory Services, Insurance Agents, Accountants, Lawyers, Advertising & Travel Agencies, Call Centers, Dispatch Centers, Recruitment Firms, Private Investigators, Credit Bureaus, Home Inspectors, Flood Hazard Locators, Third Party Administrators, and similar. Shall: Review insurance applications for financial requirements and acceptable risk allowances. Determine acceptability of risk using company standards and define terms and conditions for applications. Price and rate accounts based on company requirements and financial risk. Requirements: Knowledge of underwriting processes, tools and coverages; ability to gather and evaluate data from applicants to reach decisions on renewal and new business applications. Strong problem solving capabilities and ability to make decisions based on facts and risk assessments. Underwriting experience with Errors & Omissions (E&O).
