We are seeking a dedicated Insurance Service Specialist to support our growth and service goals. This exciting role involves providing exceptional service to both existing members and potential clients while assisting with insurance product sales. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver outstanding customer service to our members and insured individuals. Provide information related to membership and insurance.
- Assist walk-in and telephone members with insurance inquiries and facilitate the sale of memberships. Help members with policy changes, renewals, and billing inquiries while accepting payments and verifying coverage for lien holders.
- Develop leads to enhance the performance of our office sales agents and life specialists.
- Foster positive communication and relationships with staff and management, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
- Support management and sales teams by engaging in cross-selling opportunities.
- Utilize discretion and independent judgment to resolve member issues, escalating complex cases as necessary.
- Provide routine service work following sales and underwriting guidelines while managing complex transactions and handling basic complaints.
- Identify and refer complex complaints to advanced Insurance Specialists or Sales Management for resolution.
Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
- Moderate proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Word/Excel required.
- Advanced customer service skills preferred.
- Property and Casualty/Solicitors License required.
- Property and Casualty Insurance License must be obtained within one year from the state.
