Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking four (4) dedicated and detail-oriented Insurance Intake Coordinators - Bilingual Spanish to join their client's team in California. This role is pivotal in providing excellent customer service and support in a call center environment, ensuring that HR and employees receive the necessary guidance about their benefits. The position is 100% remote but must work Pacific Standard Time hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service within a call center environment to our customer's clients through confidential and professional support regarding Benefits.
- Focus on answering live phone calls and addressing new email inquiries, setting up cases for a Benefit Advocate.
- Respond to all incoming calls promptly and professionally, identifying and addressing routine questions or issues.
- Complete intake forms for all emails and phone calls to establish cases for Benefit Advocates.
- Return emails and letter correspondence promptly, thoroughly documenting all issues in a timely manner following department standards.
- File all paper and electronic documents according to department standards.
- Assist in developing client-related documentation in a consistent format.
- Follow all Privacy, Security, and HIPAA requirements specific to the department.
- Participate in meetings, group discussions, and department trainings as appropriate.
- Comply with system data standards and maintain data integrity by entering complete and accurate information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - English and Spanish
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Organized planner with effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to learn and troubleshoot new systems.
- Understanding of Employee Benefit compliance concepts and requirements.
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- One or more years of experience in Customer Service, preferably related to Employee Benefits, dealing with eligibility, claims resolution, and/or benefits education.
- Associate Degree preferred.
Required Work Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Benefits
This is a 100% remote role but must work West Coast hours.
Additional Details
The pay for this position is up to $20 per hour.
