Job Description: Prominent firm in Downtown Los Angeles seeks an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to join their team. The ideal Insurance Defense Paralegal possesses over 4+ years of experience within civil litigation defense (insurance defense strongly preferred), has directly supported up to 4 attorneys with trial preparation, summaries, and can comfortably bill over 1400 billable hours annually.
Insurance Defense Paralegal Job Duties:
- Assist with trial preparation
- Summarize medical records, depositions, and page line
- Conduct client correspondence
- Handle all aspects of discovery
- Manage timekeeping for self and attorneys
Insurance Defense Paralegal Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in civil litigation defense required (insurance defense strongly preferred)
- Prior experience working with Clio, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to bill over 1400 billable hours annually
