Job Details
A well-respected litigation boutique is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney with 4-10 years of experience focused on personal injury and insurance defense. The firm handles high-stakes litigation involving complex fact patterns and significant exposure, and is looking for someone capable of stepping into a case and contributing immediately to both large and smaller dockets.
Key Responsibilities:
Defend clients in complex personal injury and insurance-related litigation.
Handle full file workup, including written discovery, depositions, expert coordination, and client communications.
Collaborate with partners on high-value matters while independently managing a personal docket of smaller cases.
Participate in motion practice, legal research, and case strategy.
Assist with trial prep and serve as trial counsel when needed.
Maintain high standards of professionalism and responsiveness to clients and internal teams.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar.
4-10 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on personal injury or insurance defense.
Strong deposition and discovery skills, with a proven ability to handle cases independently.
Courtroom experience and comfort with trial preparation.
Exceptional legal writing, communication, and organizational abilities.
Collaborative mindset and a proactive, client-focused work ethic.
