Johnson and Company is a family-owned insurance agency that has been in business for 90 over years. We are seeking an experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative for our Commercial Lines Department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and have a focus toward customer service. This position assists Producers in the placement of new and renewal insurance business, with a strong emphasis on client retention and growth.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the insurance industry
- Experience quoting commercial insurance with multiple carriers
- Ability to multi-task and handle heavy workload with minimal supervision
- Comfort with deadlines
- Must be able to pay close attention to detail and perform well under pressure
- Ability to interact with agency clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Experience with online rating
Preferences:
- An active Property and Casualty (P&C) license
- Professional designations (CIC, CISR, CPCU, ACSR, etc )
- College Degree
- Knowledge of AMS Software
Some of the job responsibilities are as follows:
-Interact with customers in response to inquiries about current or future policies.
-Interact with customers and provide information in response to inquiries about policies as well as service, handle and resolve complaints.
-Memorialize records of customer interactions or transactions.
-Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining/up-dating files and invoicing clients.
-Assist in the coordinating of insurance renewals and policy changes.
-Manage underwriter relationships with various carriers.
-Maintain appropriate system records of service, marketing and policy communications with clients and carriers by documenting files accordingly.
-Maintain policy renewal cycles through effective client communication and follow up.
