Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert legal advice on insurance coverage matters, including general liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, employment practices liability, professional liability, commercial property, and casualty.
2. Analyze and interpret insurance policies to determine the extent of the insurer's liability and exposure.
3. Manage and oversee insurance claims and litigation, coordinating with external counsel where necessary.
4. Advise on risk management strategies and insurance policy renewals, ensuring the company is adequately protected against potential liabilities.
5. Develop and implement insurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
6. Negotiate and draft insurance policy terms and conditions.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in NJ and/or NY
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Insurance Coverage Attorney, preferably within the technology industry.
4. Extensive knowledge and understanding of insurance law, including general liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, employment practices liability, professional liability, commercial property, and casualty.
5. Proven experience in managing insurance claims and litigation.
6. Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
