We're seeking a skilled Instructor Trainer to support training efforts for a Salesforce-based Grants Management System (GMS). This position involves designing, developing, and delivering training for both internal and external users through a mix of in-person sessions, webinars, and digital materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver instructor-led, web-based, and multimedia training programs.
  • Create training materials including guides, videos, exercises, and job aids.
  • Conduct technical training on IT systems, software, installations, security, and maintenance.
  • Use LMS platforms and eLearning tools for content development and delivery.
  • Assist with formatting and editing training created by other staff.
  • Analyze audience needs and tailor training accordingly.
  • Stay current on training tools, delivery methods, and accessibility best practices.
  • Create content that is clear and effective for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support Salesforce-based GMS onboarding and system adoption through training sessions and documentation.

Project Focus

This position will create and deliver role-based training for the enterprise Grants Management System (GMS), including written, recorded, and in-person materials tailored to agency staff, administrators, and external users.


Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a training instructor or in a related field
  • 8+ years of experience with training methods and technologies
  • 8+ years of experience in curriculum development and instructional design

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience creating IT-focused training materials
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Excellent written communication skills

Technical Proficiency

  • Microsoft Office Suite 2010 or newer
  • LMS platforms and eLearning authoring tools
  • Experience delivering cloud-based training (preferred)
  • Familiarity with EIR accessibility and assistive technologies
