Arkansas State University - Newport (ASUN) is seeking applications for an Instructor of Industrial Controls. The Instructor of Industrial Controls reports to the Dean for Applied Science and has responsibility for the coordination, oversight, and assessment of the Industrial Controls program. The instructor is responsible for teaching industrial controls, automation, and robotics courses as appropriate to the two-year college level including classroom and laboratory instruction. This role supports the College's mission of providing and ensuring quality educational programs for ASUN's various constituencies.
This position is a full-time 12-month faculty position that is located at our Jonesboro campus. Occasional work at other locations may be necessary.
Education and Experience
Technical certification or appropriate industry certification plus 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or appropriate industry certification(s) and/or three to five years' experience in controls.
Salary & Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000.
