Advertised Position Title:Instructor, Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Job Description:Fully responsible for the maintenance and continuation of JRCERT program accreditation. Communicates with students, Clinical Education Coordinator(s), other faculty, MRI program, Director/Chair MRI Technology regarding student, classroom, and laboratory needs and issues.
Maintains competency in the professional discipline and instructional evaluative techniques through continuing professional development. Provides students with didactic content as defined in the JRCERT standards. Updates course syllabi according to the Curriculum Committee template.
Submits course syllabi and course outlines to Program Director.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge base as related to the MRI concentrations of a JRCERT accredited
program.
Understanding of academics in higher education including but not limited to innovative content
delivery, assessment of student learning, adapting to differing learning styles, alignment of course
content with clinical requirements, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills, communication and organizational skills.
Ability to recognize strengths and weaknesses in students' performance and adapt teaching style to accommodate.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree with Bachelor's degree completion in two years.
Two ( 2) years teaching experience
Two (2) years full-time clinical experience in MRI
ARRT registered in MRI
CPR certified
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Five (5) years clinical experience in MRI
5 years teaching experience with proficiency in course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising

Work Schedule:The schedule is based on the needs of students, the program, and the clinic, totaling 40 hours per week. This includes 15 contact hours per semester and 7 office hours per week. Additional overload assignments are available if desired.
