Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor - General Otolaryngology Surgeon

The University of California, San Francisco Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery is seeking a full-time academic General Otolaryngologist to join our faculty. This position is available at the rank of Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The selected candidate will build a robust practice in all aspects of head and neck surgery at a world-class quaternary care center serving the greater Bay Area and California. Research collaboration is a hallmark of UCSF, and support for clinical or basic science research may be available.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Completion of an accredited residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery
  • Eligible for a California medical license by the start date
  • Applicant s materials must list pending qualifications upon submission

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong commitment to clinical practice and resident education

The UC salary scales set the minimum pay based on rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range is $130,200 - $393,200. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, providing eligibility for additional compensation.
