Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced Installation Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of the construction team at our client's branch. In this role, the Installation Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Underground Fuel Storage Tank projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This includes managing employees and subcontractors, maintaining strong client relationships, conducting safety audits, and overseeing project progress and invoicing. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in construction management, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to employee development and customer satisfaction.


Location

Hybrid (report to the office in the morning, then head to the job site)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensuring a safe working environment for all Underground Fuel Storage Tank Installation personnel.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, & organized workplace and oversee worksites/offices.
  • Verify accurate daily records, Safety Inspections, and Project Safety Forms (such as JSA's, AHA's, and Meetings) of all work performed are being properly maintained/completed.
  • Emphasis on customer satisfaction, quality, and cost control.
  • Conduct site safety audits.
  • Review of departmental costs and overhead expenses as needed to meet current budgetary goals.
  • Attend pre-job conferences emphasizing verification of parts, equipment, and scope of work for major regional projects.
  • Verify permitting for all aspects of projects & drawings are being used on all jobs.
  • Verify and monitor the progress of projects, billings, AIA documents, Lien waivers, and AR project collections.

Education, Skills, and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience installing Underground Fuel Storage Tanks.
  • Proven working experience in Construction Management. Minimum of 3 years.
  • Strong Leadership Skills and experience managing an Installation Crew and subcontractors .
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
  • Must have experience managing multiple projects and crews simultaneously in all construction phases.
