Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Milton Keynes
Rate: 110- 130 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: Term time only

Are you a qualified HLTA looking for a new challenge in a rewarding SEN environment? A fantastic SEN school in Milton Keynes is seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their passionate team from September 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils with diverse SEN needs, while working closely with teaching staff and leading small group sessions.

This role is ideal for HLTAs who:
Have a solid background working with children or young people with SEN
Are confident leading groups and delivering planned lessons
Can adapt quickly and respond calmly to a variety of needs and behaviours
Are committed to helping every pupil reach their potential

Key Responsibilities:
Support and deliver tailored learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff
Lead small group interventions and assist in managing classroom behaviour
Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt resources and learning plans
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils

Key Requirements:
Must hold a recognised HLTA qualification
Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs
Strong understanding of a variety of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A proactive and resilient mindset
