We provide technical expertise to our clients who are designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining water and wastewater facilities in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Tennessee. We are involved at all stages of a project from preliminary design, to construction, to maintenance for the lifetime of our installed equipment. We have over one BILLION dollars' worth of equipment installed in the field which requires replacement parts and service from the Original Equipment Manufacturers products.
Position Overview:
ETEC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inside Sales Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting sales efforts by assisting with bid opportunities, capital and aftermarket sales quotes, project management, and order processing. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage bid proposals and sales quotations for capital equipment and aftermarket parts.
- Collaborate with the outside sales team to develop competitive pricing strategies and ensure timely submission of bids.
- Support project management efforts by coordinating with vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Process customer orders, track shipments, and provide order status updates to clients.
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and project documentation.
- Assist in customer inquiries, providing technical and product-related information.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and new technologies to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements:
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience in inside sales, project coordination, or sales support is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software.
- A willingness to learn about water treatment products and solutions.
- Previous experience in the water/wastewater industry is beneficial but not required.
