To help us continue to grow our offerings, we're searching for an Inside Sales Representative who will be responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective candidates for Solatube's dealer network in the U.S. and Canada. This role focuses on the initial phase of dealer recruitment by assessing prospects, ensuring they meet the necessary criteria, and scheduling them for Concept Overview meetings with our sales manager.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Source, research, and qualify prospective dealers based on company-defined criteria.
  • Conduct initial outreach and vetting to ensure alignment with business goals and market potential.
  • Engage with prospects through calls, emails, and online meetings to present the business dealer opportunity.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions and address initial objections.
  • Schedule qualified candidates for a Concept Overview meeting with the sales manager.
  • Maintain and track all prospect interactions and progress using
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from qualification to the next stage.
  • Analyze market data to identify high-potential regions and ideal dealer profiles.
  • Provide regular updates to the Vice President on lead pipeline, progress, and key recruitment insights.
  • Participate in strategy discussions and process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, subordinates, and external contacts.
  • Complete accurately and in a timely manner all reports as required by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

  • BS/BA degree in business, marketing or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in sales, business development or lead qualification.
  • Experience in similar position (business development, franchise recruitment or similar) highly desired.
  • Experience with or similar CRM platforms.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple prospects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate market opportunities and prospect potential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and mathematical skills.
  • Computer competency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and LinkedIn.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurability.
