POSITION SUMMARY:
This position coordinates all sales activities for a given geographic market segment. Taking direction from the Inside Sales Supervisor, the primary function of the role is the management of key customer order fulfillment activities.
DUTIES:
Inside Sales
i. Manage all order fulfillment activities for DSG Canusa key customers
ii. Analyze customer requirements and prepare quotations based on current market conditions, product type, past market history, technical capabilities and the geographical market segment strategy
iii. Working closely with Regional Managers proactively target and develop new business and markets to build DSG Canusa market share
iv. Initiate cost requests and order expedites if required to ensure on time completion
v. Track quotation trends and order success rates
Marketing Support
i. Provide input to management to ensure proper strategic market direction and identify obstacles, competitive products and pricing to determine our market competitiveness
ii. Execute channel management and promotional programs designed by management
iii. Gather and monitor potentially useful information for opportunities from any/all available sources
iv. Prepare and manage project bid/tender packages
Customer Service
v. Process purchase orders from customers into ERP system while managing order lead time requirements
vi. Facilitate customer requests and orders through Product engineering and production if required
vii. Review requests for warranty, return goods, credits and debits, customer complaints and forward to Country Manager for approval
viii. Accurately invoice customers for all shipments that have been made as required
ix. Review and approve freight and brokerage bills
x. Act as a back-up during vacation periods or as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous Sales experience is a must.
- Previous experience in selling products or services.
- Minimum Community College Education.
- Holding Bachelor's degree - preferred.
- Minimum 1 to 5 years of related experience.
- Computer Literate (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Experience with ERP systems is an asset.
