Inside Sales Representative

Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing sales and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a relational-based manufacturing environment, be proactive in sales efforts, and deliver world-class customer service.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound calls and emails to existing customers, as well as follow up on inbound leads.
  • Proactively generate quotes and follow up to support the field sales team.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to provide tailored solutions.
  • Secure sales by obtaining orders and identifying future opportunities.
  • Research accounts, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest in our products.
  • Collaborate with the customer service and production planning teams to ensure seamless order processing and follow-ups.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of our manufacturing processes and product offerings, including valves, connections, and fittings.
  • Support our department 10am - 7pm EST; reporting hybrid three days to our Charlotte office.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 2+ years in inside sales.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong phone presence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in corporate productivity tools and web presentation platforms.
  • Experience with CRM system, Salesforce preferred.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or sales a plus.
