We're looking for an experienced and driven Inside Sales Manager to join our team and take ownership of our lead generation efforts, pipeline development, and the growth of our inside sales team.
Position Summary
The Inside Sales Manager will lead the development and execution of a high-performance inside sales strategy focused on generating qualified leads, closing business, and supporting the company's long-term revenue goals. This role requires a hands-on leader who can both manage and mentor the team while contributing directly to the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic thinker with a track record of growing and leading successful inside sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an effective inside sales strategy aligned with Axon's growth objectives.
- Drive lead generation efforts and build a strong pipeline of high-quality prospects.
- Oversee the full inside sales cycle-from prospecting through closing.
- Manage and mentor the inside sales team, providing regular coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Report on key sales metrics and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, field sales, and customer success to align messaging and optimize the sales process.
- Foster a team culture that emphasizes learning, collaboration, and results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience managing inside sales teams, preferably in a fast-paced or SaaS environment.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop sales professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and a self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to inspire and lead others toward shared goals.
