As the Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the department's structure, growth, projects, recruitment, and day to day activities. Collaborating closely with your team, you'll ensure a cohesive approach to customer satisfaction, company objectives, and departmental targets.
The Inside Sales Manager's job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Oversee the daily work flows of the department
- Understanding the sales process, market, and industry clearly
- Demonstrate superior product knowledge, functionality, and value to address customer questions and inquiries
- Effectively prospect, develop, and grow new accounts
- Effectively maintain relationship with, manage, and grow existing accounts
- Respond to in-bound sales inquiries for quotes, and customer service needs clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner
- Use CRM for prospecting new business, follow ups, while gathering & recording strategic information
- Follow up timely on cold and warm opportunities
- Employee recruitment, evaluations, promotions, disciplinary actions, retention, and terminations
- Establishing, implementing, and monitoring training requirements, documents, and schedules
- Providing guidance and support the department to meet goals and customer expectations across all product categories
- Assist salesmen with overcoming objection and closing sales
- Work with Outside Sales and Business Development team to meet or exceed department goals and discuss growth plans
- Interface with the Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams to discuss customer feedback and incorporate in the product designs, marketing efforts, new product development, etc.
- Attending trade shows and customers facility visits
- Prepare and skillfully present sales presentations to customers
APPLICANTS MUST: - Have an Associates Degree or equivalent (Bachelors degree is a plus)
- Have at least four years of working experience in inside sales building relationships, nurturing leads, and meeting goals
- Have at least two years of working experience in a management level position
- Have at least two years of experience and a general understanding of heavy equipment (excavators specifically), attachments, and applications (is a plus)
- Have working experience in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Have active listening and information gathering skills
