We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Manager to join our growing Nationwide Sales Team.
Description:
The Inside Sales Manager (ISM) is partnered with a Field Sales Manager (FSM) to generate new and retain and grow existing sales within a specified territory. The ISM receives inbound and makes outbound calls and delivers sales talks and pitches that describe our products and their benefits. The end goal is to persuade potential and existing customers to purchase products and place orders. The ISM Representative must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day working with channel partners, end user doctors, and dental labs, to generate interest, qualify prospects, attain product evaluations, and close sales.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
• Make a minimum of 40 calls per day working with channel partners, doctors, and dental labs, generating interest, qualifying prospects, obtaining evaluations and closing sales.
• Influence customers to purchase our products and change their behaviors by focusing on our marketing message and associating products with gains related to efficiency, conservation, practice growth and material savings.
• Maintain and expand the database and funnel of prospects within your assigned territory
• Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information
• Partner with Field Sales Manager to obtain clinical presentations, whether virtual or live in schools, DSOs, and other dental facilities.
• Obtain customer information, including name, address, e-mail, competitor products, etc.
• Enter, record, and maintain information in the company CRM, Salesforce
• Develop call lists of potential and existing customers from Free Goods database, social media, Marketing Campaigns and or events
• Adjust sales pitches by asking key questions to better target needs of individuals
• Identify obstacles, opportunities and paths to successful sales transactions and relay that information to management
• Review sales and marketing materials, events, and sales results to detect or assess problems
• Establish long-range objectives and specify the strategies and actions needed to accomplish them
• Develop constructive and cooperative relationships with end-users
• Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with the Customer Service Team, Finance, and Marketing
Qualifications:
• BA/BS Degree or three (3) years of inside sales / telesales experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of proven inside sales / telesales success, demonstrating knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, selling and up-selling products and services
• Meeting Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Prospecting Skills, Technical Understanding, Building Relationships, People Skills, Data Entry Skills, Customer Focus, Professionalism, Motivation for Sales.
• Full understanding of the principles and processes for providing Excellent Customer Service - this includes customer needs assessments and evaluation of customer satisfaction
• Excellent Active Listening Skills: Candidates must be able to give their full attention to what end user is saying, taking time to understand the points being made and asking appropriate questions to gain as much information as possible to help identify doctor needs which will help identify SS White product solutions
• Command of the English language: Must be able to speak clearly and convey information effectively
• Ability to persuade others to change their minds or buying behaviors
• Ability to use MS office suite (Word, Excel and Power Point)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior Dental experience as a hygienist or assistant is preferred
• Salesforce or other CRM experience a plus
• Challenger selling a plus
• Second language preferred
