We are American Metals Supply. A thriving employee-owned, leading wholesale distributor of sheet and coil steel, prefabricated duct & fittings, and a complete line of HVACR products. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients, and a strong understanding of our products and services. You will be responsible for driving new business, managing existing business, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Our commitment to excellence and innovation drives our success.
Inside Sales Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with phone and will-call sales of HVAC parts and supplies, with no cold calling involved.
- Receive and process requests for quotations, orders, and lead times via phone, fax, and email.
- Follow up with customers regarding pricing inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with manufacturers to obtain current lead time information and customer delivery requirements.
- Collaborate with outside sales team to address customer-related needs and provide exceptional service.
- Educate customers about product technology, features, and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Inside Sales Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales and customer service environment.
- Ability to successfully sell products and deliver excellent customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
- Creative problem-solving abilities to address customer needs effectively.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at multiple levels.
- Demonstrates high integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
- Experience with Epicor Eclipse/Solar (preferred).
- Knowledge of HVAC products and industry (preferred).
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
