About the Role:

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales representative to join our team at Delta Steel: Houston. As a leading steel service center in Houston, TX, we are looking for a motivated individual to help drive sales and provide excellent customer service to our clients in San Antonio, South Texas and West Texas markets.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect new customers and accounts
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts
• Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
• Provide pricing and delivery information to customers
• Coordinate with operations and logistics to ensure on-time delivery
• Entry and processing of customer orders
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues
• Follow up with customers regarding quotations and outcalls to customers to generate additional inquiries
• Meet and exceed sales targets and goals
• Position will be located in our Houston office servicing the San Antonio, South Texas and West Texas markets

Requirements:

• Prior experience in inside sales or customer service role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of steel, metal or fabrication industry is a plus
