Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Coimbatore. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our farm management software and farm diagnostics hardware to both the US and Indian markets. You will engage with potential customers, understand their needs, and help them find the right solutions using our platform. The role involves generating leads, nurturing prospects, and closing deals, all while working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting:
  • Identify and reach out to potential customers in both the US and India via email, phone calls, and online communication.
  • Qualify inbound leads and prospects through research and initial conversations.
  • Utilize various tools and channels (LinkedIn, CRMs, email marketing) to generate leads and build a strong pipeline.

  • Product Demonstrations and Presentations:

    • Conduct virtual product demos to showcase the farm management software and farm diagnostics hardware to prospects and existing clients.
    • Clearly communicate the value propositions and key features of the product to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Sales Outreach and Follow-ups:

    • Follow up with leads regularly to maintain relationships, address questions, and move them through the sales funnel.
    • Use email marketing and cold calling strategies to increase sales and convert leads into paying customers.

    Sales Closing and Negotiation:

    • Guide prospects through the sales process, from initial contact to closing deals.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts, ensuring a mutually beneficial outcome.
    • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by meeting or exceeding quotas.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, ZohoCRM), tracking all sales activities, follow-ups, and sales progress.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and foster long-term relationships with clients.

    Market Insights and Reporting:

    • Share market feedback, including customer objections, pain points, and competitive information, with the product and marketing teams to enhance offerings.
    • Regularly report sales activities, key wins, and challenges to the sales manager.

    Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the marketing team to refine messaging, campaigns, and product offerings.
    • Partner with the technical team to ensure smooth product onboarding for new clients.

    Requirements:

    Proven Inside Sales Experience:

    • At least 2-3 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in software sales or technology products(agriculture tech or IoT is a plus).
    • Previous experience in B2B sales for international markets (especially the US and India) is a big advantage.

    Strong Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with customers in both the US and India.
    • Comfortable conducting virtual presentations and product demos to customers with varying levels of technical expertise.

    Sales Skills:

    • Strong ability to prospect, qualify leads, and close sales.
    • Familiar with sales tools like CRM software, email marketing platforms, and lead generation tools.
    • Goal-oriented, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently.

    Technical Aptitude:

    • Ability to understand and communicate technical product details for both the farm management software and farm diagnostics hardware.
    • Proficiency in using tech tools and databases to track sales progress and customer interactions.

    Cultural Awareness:

    • Comfortable interacting with customers from both the US and India, understanding their distinct needs and expectations in agriculture technology.
    • Experience working with international clients is preferred.

    Self-Starter and Team Player:

    • Ability to work independently while also being part of a collaborative team.
    • Problem-solving attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to changes.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge or experience in agriculture technology and familiarity with farm management software or IoT solutions.
    • Fluency in additional languages (like Hindi, Spanish, etc.) could be an advantage.
    • Experience with sales automation tools and marketing platforms.

    Pay: 15,000.00 - 20,000.00 per month
