Inside Sales Application Engineer

Our client, a prominent leader in the centrifugal pump industry, is seeking an Inside Sales Application Engineer to join their team. As an Inside Sales Application Engineer, you will be part of the sales department supporting a dynamic and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Inside Sales Application Engineer Location: Clackamas, OR Pay Range: $60,000 - $75,000 (DOE) What's the Job?
•  Proactively engage in telephone-based troubleshooting to assist customers in selecting the appropriate equipment.
•  Craft and input comprehensive sales quotations and orders, highlighting key features, pricing, and credit terms.
•  Expertly navigate technical pump information to provide accurate guidance.
•  Conduct outbound lead follow-up via phone and email, effectively nurturing customer relationships.
•  Deliver product demonstrations to interested customers upon request. What's Needed?
•  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
•  Proven experience with water systems and pumping systems.
•  Familiarity with piping plan drawing takeoff and specification review.
•  Strong computer skills relevant to the position.
