POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Account Manager to manage and grow an assigned account base. The Inside Sales account manager role focuses on building strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new opportunities within the account base, and driving sales growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Management:
Serves as the primary contact for assigned accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention and growth.
Sales Growth:
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the account base to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Drive repeat business and expand product penetration in accounts.
- Conduct outbound calls and send personalized emails for follow up on inbound leads.
Customer Engagement:
- Develop strong long-term relationships with key decision -makers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular check-ins, reviews and needs assessments.
Quoting and Proposals:
- Prepare quotes and proposals, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and policies.
- Negotiate pricing terms and conditions to close deals.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments such as marketing, operations, customer service) to resolve customer issues and improve customer experience.
- Share customer feedback to help enhance, products, services and processes.
Pipeline and Opportunity Management:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions. Proactively track and manage sales opportunities using CRM tools to maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline.
- Engage timely follow-up on customer requests and opportunities.
Market Insight:
- Stay informed about PVF and hose industry trends, competitor activities and market dynamics to provide strategic value to customers
- Recommends service and product enhancement to improve the sales potential and customer satisfaction.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of inside sales experience preferably in the Industrial, Plumbing/PVF, Waterworks or Irrigation wholesale markets.
COMPENSATION
- Base salary with commission-based earnings tied to performance. Additional benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, travel reimbursement, and professional development opportunities.
