Job Overview:
Title: Pharmacist Inpatient
Locations: Whittier, CA 90602
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $75/hr - $85/hr
Shift: Night 4x10-Hour (20:00 - 06:30)

Position Summary:
A Inpatient pharmacist's role is to work under the guidance of other medical staff, such as qualified doctors or nurses. They play an essential part in providing good quality care for patients while also helping them avoid unnecessary complications caused by misused medications or adverse reactions to prescribed medications.

Key Responsibilities:
Prescribe and check prescriptions for errors
Provide advice on the dosage of medicines and the most appropriate form of medication, which could be by tablet, injection, ointment or inhaler
Advise on reducing or stopping non-effective medications
Participate in ward rounds to take patient drug histories, and ensure safe and effective use of medications

Required EXPERIENCE :
5 years experience in Pharmacist Inpatient

Qualifications:
BLS
PharmD
ACLS

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Inpatient / Acute care
- Anticoagulants
- Cardiac dosing
- Clinical dosing
