Position: Injection Molding Maintenance Technician
Location: Roxboro, NC
Pay: $33 to $35/hour (Depending on experience)
Experience: 1-2 years of experience working in injection molding setup and processing. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11pm to 7am
Greene Resources is seeking an Injection Molding Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team. In this role, you provide technical support to help us produce plastic parts at a high standard of quality. In this role, you'll provide technical support to help ensure the production of high-quality plastic parts.
Job Description:
- Set up and start the injection molding machines for production.
- Perform mold insert changes as needed.
- Clean and inspect mold components according to the maintenance schedule.
- Use hand tools to perform routine maintenance and adjustments.
- Check for and report any damage to mold components.
- Troubleshoot machine and processing issues during production.
- Assist with color changes and ensure material transitions run smoothly.
- Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure product standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Position Requirements:
- Experience with material handling equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or technical diagrams.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to read and write in English.
- Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities efficiently.
