Job Summary: The Injection Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of injection systems. This role works closely with mechanics and operations teams to maintain and repair equipment, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventative maintenance programs. The Injection Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in supporting production and safety goals, ensuring Dugan Production Corp. can deliver consistent and responsible energy production while maximizing efficiency, maintaining compliance, and supporting the company's long-term growth in the San Juan Basin. Essential Duties:
  • Perform minor maintenance and repairs on injection systems engines and pumps, such as oil and filter changes and belt adjustments.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with injection systems and implement corrective actions.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
  • Collaborate with engineers, field personnel, and other departments to align field activities with production targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Provide regular updates to supervisors on field activities, operational challenges, and performance metrics.
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability through attending regular training, safety meetings, and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Implement best practices to streamline field operations, reduce costs, and enhance reliability.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Basic computer knowledge including email, web browser, and other data entry systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Must meet Driver Acceptability Profile
  • Must meet Driver Acceptability Profile requirements

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in mechanical related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in injection system maintenance or related mechanical field is preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. Noise levels may be loud at times.
  • Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
  • Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
  • Constant lifting of up to 100 pounds.
  • May be required to work weekends, nights, or be on-call as a regular part of the job.
  • Travel requirements: Less than 10% of the time.
