You will work in a team supporting the DDAT Infrastructure, Azure Cloud, Voice and Data network services, ensuring the provision of efficient and reliable services across all our offices.

You will be responsible for managing a range of IT Infrastructure, including On-premises infrastructure, Private and Public cloud environments (Azure), voice and data networks, supporting the DDAT Strategy through implementation, management, and ongoing support.

You will leverage your technical and business knowledge, along with coordination skills, to manage daily operational activities and relationships between service functions and business areas, ensuring a unified approach to service delivery from initial service design to service decommissioning.

You are required to work across NHSBSA locations and undertake travel across the country as needed.

Main duties of the job
  1. Developing, implementing, and supporting ICT solutions and design strategies in a multi-supplier environment.
  2. Analyzing technical designs and providing business with assurance on supplier proposals.
  3. Supporting a wide range of ICT services including telecoms, data networks, and server infrastructure.
  4. Knowledge of infrastructure services like Microsoft Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, PowerShell, Exchange.
  5. Managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
  6. Supporting and troubleshooting complex ICT solutions.
  7. Knowledge and experience with network/firewall technologies, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, SAN and NAS storage.

  1. Supporting ICT projects, infrastructure, network, systems, telephony, and desktops, ensuring high service levels using ITIL frameworks.

Person Specification Personal Qualities, Knowledge and Skills
  • Experience developing and supporting ICT solutions in multi-supplier environments.
  • Ability to analyze and assure technical designs.
  • Supporting ICT services including telecoms, networks, and servers.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, PowerShell, Exchange.
  • Effective stakeholder management and security standards (ISO27001).
  • ITIL knowledge and experience.
Experience
  • Supporting and troubleshooting complex ICT solutions.
  • Network/firewall technologies, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, SharePoint.
  • Storage administration, legacy service transition, team management.
Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Industry-recognized qualifications (Microsoft, Cisco).
  • Extensive experience in network service architecture and ICT implementation.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
