ABOUT US:
Snowcreek Consulting is a small government subcontractor with a dedicated team supporting federal contracts. Our employees work remotely or at government sites, delivering specialized IT and infrastructure support in secure environments. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Infrastructure Operations Manager to oversee the operations of Tech Control facilities supporting mission-critical systems.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Operations Manager to ensure the operational integrity, maintenance, and security of Tech Control facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in secure communications infrastructure, proven leadership experience, and deep knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) best practices. This role requires a high level of technical competence, leadership, and collaboration across technical and security teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of tech control professionals to ensure continuous operational support and capability enhancements.

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for facility operations, managing transmission paths, maintenance, and compliance with ITSM and industry standards.

• Oversee Tier 2 Tech Control Helpdesk operations, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, completion of service requests, and performance of essential maintenance.

• Coordinate and document maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with operational standards and best practices.

• Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities, ensuring secure facility operations.

• Provide clear, actionable reports and recommendations to leadership regarding infrastructure performance, risks, and improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Security Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
Certification:

• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification required (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, or equivalent).

• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or 5+ years of equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and operating cryptographic facilities.

• Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical teams in secure environments with a focus on reliability, compliance, and performance.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, secure communications systems, and maintenance protocols.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear reports and collaborate across departments.
