Infrastructure Engineer Onsite Location: Aurora, CO Required: TS/SCI with CI Poly No 1099, No third parties, no C2C, No Visas or Green Cards No exceptions (Sorry) W2 Hourly long term Contract to Hire Only $65 - $88.00 per hour based on experience and benefits package No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US TS/SCI w/Poly CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED GeoLogics is seeking highly qualified, motivated, and technically talented Infrastructure Engineer with a TS/SCI w/Poly clearance to work in our Aurora, CO location. The role's core responsibility is for providing the design, development, implementation, and integration of a compute/network/storage infrastructure, as well as support modernizing the program platform's over-arching design through new emerging technologies and use of DevOps/DevSecOps tools and automation in-order to streamline processes, enhance collaboration, and accelerate the release cycles, thereby driving efficiency and innovation. Qualifications Required An active and transferable TS/SCI / CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience
Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker
Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C , C , Go)
Preferred Qualifications: Hands- Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab) Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based Operating Systems Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security + CE or equivalent) Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef Experience with RedHat Linux Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify, Anchore) Multi-disciplined infrastructure experience with compute, networks, storage, and virtualization Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps framework
Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration Responsibilities: Responsible for development and operational environments on a large program producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.
Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure
Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across cloud based computing environments
Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management
Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions
Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management
Provide operational support for the platform
