Job Title: CI (HW Planner)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled CI (HW Planner) to support hardware planning, deployment, and documentation for Data Center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in hardware layout, cabling, and configuration, with a focus on NFVI standards and hands-on experience with platforms like AirFrame, HPE, and Dell.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate BoM (Bill of Materials) against hardware solution blueprints (AirFrame, HPE, Dell).
- Create and deliver EPF and Hardware Low-Level Design (HW LLD) for new racks and hardware expansions.
- Conduct and support virtual site surveys; coordinate with physical installation teams for design clarifications.
- Present and review HW LLDs with stakeholders; incorporate feedback and updates as needed.
- Monitor LLD delivery timelines; report status and risks to Nokia architects and project managers.
- Ensure customer queries are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Support execution and documentation of Hardware Acceptance Test Plans per customer standards.
- Maintain clear communication with Nokia TPM and PM on delivery status, risks, and issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of NFVI Standards 3.0 & 4.0.
- Solid understanding of Data Center infrastructure-rack placement, cabling, airflow, and power.
- Experience in AirFrame, HPE, and Dell hardware platforms.
- Familiarity with RedHat OS deployment, BIOS/RAID configuration, and firmware updates.
- Experience with EMS tools like:
- NADCM
- HP OneView
- Dell OpenManage
- Proficiency in networking concepts; hands-on with fabric components such as:
- Leaf, Spine, BLeaf switch configurations
- OOB management
- HPE & Dell switch integration
- Skilled in documentation, specifically Methods of Procedure (MoP) and hardware acceptance documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
- T-Mobile project experience: familiarity with EPF creation, hardware issue resolution, DC/AC power considerations in MSO environments.
- Experience supporting telecom or enterprise-grade data center rollouts.
