Our client, a nonprofit advisory organization, is seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to support and modernize their IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with strong Azure cloud and network administration experience, as the organization transitions to a more cloud-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Optimize Azure infrastructure, including Azure Data Lake, to support data storage and backup modernization.
- Administer and manage Microsoft SQL databases in both on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
- Configure, manage, and maintain Fortinet network switches and WAPs.
- Troubleshoot network issues and ensure optimal connectivity across all systems.
- Lead the transition of on-prem servers to Azure, implementing robust backup and recovery processes.
- Develop and support internal tools using Microsoft Power Apps.
- Collaborate with internal teams to recommend system improvements and ensure secure, efficient operations.
Required Qualifications: - Strong hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, including Data Lake and backup solutions.
- Proficiency with network switch configuration and management (Fortinet, Cisco, or Meraki).
- Experience managing and optimizing Microsoft SQL databases (on-premises and cloud-based).
- Knowledge of Power Apps for internal tool development.
- Solid troubleshooting, communication, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, or AZ-305 (preferred).
