Job Description: Role: Infrastructure Engineer Location: Memphis, TN Preferred
Contract Length - 6 months
Interview mode: Zoom Video Interview
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm
Responsible for defining the requirements to ensure stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the client's on-prem and cloud infrastructure systems that support core organizational functions. Infrastructure systems as defined by the hiring manager include but are not limited to; Windows Server, VMWare, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Network, Database, Storage, Cloud, Email and Mobile technologies This is achieved by developing and seeing to the implementation of the methods to be utilized for monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all Infrastructure systems. Responsible for applying proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related field plus a
minimum of 6 to 8 years of work; or 10 to 12 years of progressive information system experience with 8 - 10 years in an Infrastructure or System engineer or equivalent role.
Top 3 Technical Skills - Expert level experience/knowledge with Microsoft 365 ecosystem, particularly as it pertains the following technologies and services:
- InTune and endpoint management
- Exchange Online and mail delivery
- Expert-level knowledge and experience with PowerShell scripting
- Expert-level knowledge and experience with Active Directory & Azure AD
Ideal Candidate Profile - An ideal candidate for this Infrastructure Engineer position, focusing on Microsoft 365 and endpoint management, would possess expert-level experience and knowledge within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, particularly with In-Tune and endpoint management, Exchange Online, and mail delivery.
- They should demonstrate proficiency in PowerShell scripting, showcasing the ability to automate and streamline processes effectively.
